Carlton Hotel, Newcastle upon Tyne

The hotel has had a great makeover and is now very appealing. The location is perfect for anyone visiting, but the noise from the party ran all night near our supposedly quiet room was a major disturbance.

The hotel provided a good value for money stay with small but basic rooms that could get warm at night, although a fan was provided. The service was friendly overall, though some staff members were unhelpful when addressing concerns. The location was convenient for city exploration and transport access, but noise was an issue for a guest. The dining experience was satisfactory with a continental breakfast, but improvements could be made. Facilities were decent, suitable for a short trip or university visit.
